Re: servo malfunctioning
Hello, I apologize for your troubles. Would you mind plugging the two faulty servos into a different (known working) servo port on the mePed PCB to verify that you get the same results? I’d like to rule out the possibility of the servo port on the PCB being faulty as opposed to the servos themselves...

Re: Please disregard (sorta) website issue mail
Hi Andy, Thank you for your feedback, I apologize for your troubles downloading the code. I hadn't tested it in IE/Edge so I wasn't aware of the problem. I think the best solution will be for me to put the Arduino Sketch in a Zip file so that web browsers don't try to open the .ino as a plain text f...

Re: Summary of Suggested Troubleshooting Tips
Hi RockyMtnMark, Thank you for the great recap of common issues, and your additional insight, that people face when getting their mePed working for the first time. I couldn't have said it better myself! I should update the user manual to instruct users to plug in all the servos into the mePed PCB an...

Re: mePed structure material
Hello, We buy our MDF at a local lumber yard. Home Depot and Lowes usually carry some MDF as well. Online, Inventables.com sells 1/8" MDF which is very close in size to 3mm. You could also cut the body out of 3mm Acrylic or 3D print the parts. If you're unable to track down a suitable place, we also...

Re: IR Trouble and 4-Pin Bluetooth LE Serial for iOS
Hi Faris, I'm sorry for your troubles with the IR Remote. Please contact us at sales@spiercetech.com and we can work out getting you a new IR Remote. They are typically quite a bit more stable than what you're describing so you might have received a faulty one. As for the HC-06 Bluetooth module, I h...

Re: Programming the mePed
Hi Mike, I'm sorry for your troubles! To be honest, I haven't tried out the web interface. Would you mind downloading the full IDE onto your computer and try programming the Arduino on the mePed that way? Please also be sure to select the Arduino Nano controller, select the correct COM Port, as well...

Re: generating binaries
I apologize for the troubles you're having and the long delay in responding! There seems to be an IR Library conflict but it's easy to fix. If you're running windows, open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder that contains the file mentioned in the error message (C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduin...

Re: mac serial port drivers
Hi Naher, Drivers for Mac computers can be found on our website: http://www.meped.io/mepedv2. At the bottom of the page under the Source Files section you'll find drivers for your computer. We recently updated to a newer version of the Mac drivers as it was brought to our attention that the old driv...
